Delete your Mishtro account

You can delete your Mishtro account and everything held against it at any time. There are two ways to do it, and both end in the same place. There is no charge, and we will not ask you to justify the request or try to talk you out of it.

1. In the app, in two taps

This is the fastest route and it is immediate. Open Mishtro, sign in, tap the account badge in the top-right corner, choose Delete account, and confirm. The account is gone by the time the screen closes. There is no undo.

2. By email, if you cannot get into the app

Email support@mishraagritech.com from the email address on the account, with the subject “Delete my account”. You do not need to write anything else.

We verify the request by the address it comes from, which is the same address the account signs in with, so please send it from that address. If you cannot, tell us what other proof you can offer and we will find a way that does not put someone else’s account at risk.

We acknowledge within 2 business days and complete the deletion within 7 days, then confirm by reply.

What gets deleted

Everything tied to the account, in one action:

Your account and email address
Saved profiles and the birth details in them, for you and anyone you added
Computed charts, readings, daily briefs and compatibility results
Conversations with Guruji, including couple chats
Companion memories
Reflections, mood notes, streaks and journey progress
Device and free-trial records
Consent records

When it is actually gone

Live systems: immediately.
Database backups: within 30 days, when the backup containing it expires.
Server logs: within 30 days. They hold IP addresses and request paths, not birth details.

The one thing we have to keep

If you have paid for a subscription, Australian tax and accounting law requires us to keep the transaction record for seven years: the plan, the amount, the dates, the store and our own user identifier.

That record contains no chart data, no birth details, no chat content, no reflections and no companion memories. Everything in the list above is still deleted.

Delete some of your data and keep your account

You do not have to close your account to remove part of what Mishtro holds. In the app:

A person you added, and every chart saved for them: open Profiles, tap the person, choose Delete profile and confirm.
One saved chart: open Profiles, tap the person, then delete that chart from their list. Their birth details stay saved.
A conversation with Guruji: open Guruji, tap Clear and confirm. The saved conversation is deleted from our servers as well as the phone.

For anything else (your own birth details, companion memories, reflections, mood notes or streaks), email support@mishraagritech.com from the email address on the account with the subject “Delete some of my data” and say what to remove. We complete it within 7 days and confirm by reply.

What you delete leaves our live systems straight away and our backups and server logs within 30 days, as above. A subscription’s transaction record is kept for seven years as described above; it holds no chart data, birth details or chat content.

Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription

Your Mishtro Pro subscription is billed by Apple or Google, not by us, so we cannot cancel it for you. If you have one, cancel it yourself before or after deleting the account:

iPhone or iPad: Settings, your name, Subscriptions, Mishtro, Cancel Subscription.
Android: Google Play, profile icon, Payments and subscriptions, Subscriptions, Mishtro, Cancel.

Data held by Apple, Google or RevenueCat about the purchase itself is kept under their own policies and we cannot delete it on your behalf.
